Pathway2anewu Community,
Growing up, I often assisted my mother in the kitchen preparing our family meals. We have a large family so meal preparation felt like an Olympic Sport. My Mom was an exceptional cook who prepared meals from scratch. She was the master of taking a few ingredients and turning them.into a four course feast.! Macaroni and cheese was one of her specialties. Although I helped her make it many times, after she passed I could not remember how she made it. I have mastered all of her other recipes but this one has had me stumped! I continued to try different recipes but none of them.tasted like Mom's.
This week, I began to visualize the ingredients as Mom.would add them to the pasta.I used this visualization to bake yet another pan of macaroni and cheese. When I took it out of the oven, it looked and smelled like Mom's. When I tasted it, it tasted just like Mom's!. Even though I had attempted to make this dish several.times before, it did not have taste that I wanted…but this week, the dish was perfected!
Too many times dreams, goals, and projects are abandoned because they are not progressing as we hoped. We allow frustration and disappointment to override our desire to complete what we've started. We even begin to question if it was worthwhile for us to even try. Too often, we quit before we review our steps and discover “ the missing ingredient”.
Jeremiah 18:1-4 details the account of the Potter making a vessel.on the wheel. As he is working, he sees an imperfection. He then begins making another vessel. During the process, the Potter never took his hand off of the vessel. We are going to encounter challenges as we navigate this thing called life…but we can't give up! We have to dust ourselves off and continue on the journey. Above all, we have to move confidently in FAITH.We have to trust that as long as we allow God to keep His hand on us, we will be shaped and molded into who we should be.

Moving forward In Faith and confidence. Thank you the encouragement
