Intentional: This Is Not the Season to Drift

Intentional: This Is Not the Season to Drift

This year, the word the Lord placed firmly on my heart is intentional.

Not rushed.

Not reactive.

Not just going through the motions.

Intentional.

We are living in a time where distraction is everywhere, and if we are not careful, we can find ourselves moving without meaning—busy, but not productive; active, but not aligned. This is the season where God is calling us to slow down, pay attention, and be deliberate about how we live, what we consume, and who we allow access to us.

The Word reminds us:

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”

1 Peter 5:8 (NKJV)

That scripture alone tells us this is not the time to be casual.

Intentional Living Starts With Awareness

As a woman of God, I’ve made the decision—again—to be intentional in this season of my life.

Intentional about my health journey.

Intentional about what I eat.

Intentional about what I say.

Intentional about what I watch and listen to.

Because everything we allow in eventually shows up somewhere else.

This isn’t about perfection—it’s about alignment.

“See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise.”

Ephesians 5:15 (NKJV)

To walk circumspectly means to walk carefully, attentively, intentionally.

Intentional Women Protect What God Entrusted to Them

As women, we are often the spiritual gatekeepers of our homes. We must be tuned in enough to know when it’s time to pray—for our husbands, our children, our families, and those God has connected to us.

This requires discernment.

Discernment requires time with God.

And time with God requires intentionality.

“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.”

John 10:27 (NKJV)

You cannot hear clearly if you are constantly surrounded by noise.

Intentionality Prepares Us for Restoration

I truly believe this is the year that everything the enemy thought he stole is being restored. But restoration doesn’t happen by accident. It happens when we make room for God to speak, to correct, to heal, and to realign us.

“So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten…”

Joel 2:25 (NKJV)

Restoration requires us to know what Word to stand on, and that means we must be intentional about reading His Word, not just hearing about it.

Why This Meetup Matters

As I prepare for the upcoming meetup, I feel a strong tug from God to encourage women to be in the house. What we are doing is intentional. We are laying groundwork. We are setting direction. We are preparing ourselves spiritually, mentally, and practically for 2026.

This is not just a gathering—it’s a moment of alignment.

“Prepare your minds for action; be sober-minded…”

1 Peter 1:13 (NIV)

Your Next Intentional Step

If you’ve been feeling the nudge…

If you know God is calling you to slow down and refocus…

If you’re ready to stop drifting and start moving with purpose…

Then this is your moment.

There are only a few seats left, and I would love for you to be in the room.

Don’t miss what God is setting up in this season.
